My husband originally filed for SDDI in August of 2012 and was denied sometime later. Between 2012 and 2016 (when we hired Sandy), we were denied five additional times, two of which were on appeals. Once we hired Sandy, it seemed like EVERYTHING got easier. Working with SSA got easier, getting paperwork done, not having to deal with all the stress of doing it alone. Not to mention what got dragged across four long years finally came to a close in just over 6 months!! It was awesome! Not only did we win our case, quite swiftly, but we walked away with better than we hoped for! She was easy to work with and did her job well! I'd recommend her any day!

I am so very pleased to have been recommended to Sandy's firm for my case against those who caused my body great harm. I felt that she was very honest from the first time we met, and that she listened very thoroughly to my comments. I was delighted that she would take my case. As we continued with the case, it became clear that she is a highly competent lawyer in her field. She was more than compassionate and I was so pleased with the care she took in depositions to represent me in the best way possible. I never thought she was taking the case for the income (though I am delighted that she was able to receive a fair payment), but I always felt as though she had passion for fairness and for making sure that I received as much as possible in order to compensate for the body function that will never return. Her whole team was very kind, and didn't seem to grow weary of my many questions. I would gladly recommend her to anyone I know that may need a lawyer for medical malpractice and the other areas that are in her wheelhouse. I have never sued anyone before, and never thought that I might, but she made this a great experience and I am grateful to have received a fair settlement, thanks to her efforts!

I was referred to Sandra through the attorney who handled my long-term disability claim through my former employer. I had been battling both sides of this issue on my own for over a year and my claim was being denied repeatedly. I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and the stress from all of this was causing enormous strain on my already compromised health.
Sandra took over my claim and within a year, she won the case. The time that it took does not reflect on Sandra or her firm, that is just how slowly the wheels of our system turn, even for someone represented by an attorney.
Anytime I had a question or was going through an anxiety issue, Sandra's amazing paralegal was right there to help me get the answers and to help ease my fears. Between Sandra and her team, I always felt as though I was important and that my case mattered to them.
When it was necessary to travel to Seattle (I live about 90 minutes away) to meet with Sandra personally, I was also greatly impressed with the kindness of the office staff. My mother, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, had accompanied me there and her tremor was particularly bad that day. Sandra was concerned enough to inquire after her and had such a calming presence that it helped both Mom and me feel better about the entire situation. It meant a lot to me that Sandra not only noticed my mother was in a bit of distress (she gets embarrassed by the tremor) but she was kind enough to express concern and understanding. Not only did she win my case for me, but she made me feel as though I mattered--something I haven't felt much of since my disease took over my life and forced me to stop working.
I would highly recommend Sandra and her firm to anyone searching for an attorney. I have rarely been more pleased with a professional experience.
Thank you Sandra, for helping me both with my case and for helping me to feel better about my situation overall.
