I hired Attorney Ureña to process my divorce. My first interaction with Attorney Ureña was during our initial consultation. During my consultation I explained my situation to Attorney Ureña. She then explained the different options that I had and also discussed the divorce process and fees. I felt very comfortable retaining Attorney Ureña's services right away - her knowledge and confidence was clear during our initial consultation.
Once I retained Attorney Ureña her staff contacted me and requested information/documents to begin the divorce. I was given specific instructions and a deadline to submit the requested documents. Once I submitted my requested documents I was scheduled for an appointment to review and sign my divorce documents. Attorney Ureña's staff informed me when my documents had been filed with the court, and explained the next steps and provided me with my divorce finalization date.
I received a reminder call prior to my finalization date and I met Attorney Ureña in court to finalize my divorce - it was that easy!
I would definitely recommend Attorney Ureña. What she explained to me during my initial consultation is exactly what happened through out the case. Attorney Ureña's staff is very professional and they have great customer service. Everyone at Ureña Law Office is very easy to work with. Divorce is a difficult emotional experience, but having an honest attorney makes all the difference.

Norma was very helpful for my case and prepped me well for the trial that I unfortunately had to endure. She answered all of my questions and really helped me stay focused. My case was in the family court so it was emotional at times and Norma helped me manage the emotions when dealing with the other party and especially in the trial. I really appreciated how quickly she would respond to my emails and phone messages and was professional throughout the entire experience. During the trial I was impressed by how sharp and attentive she was in the cross examination and felt like she was always on the same page as me.
Norma charges her clients by the hour but to make it simple and easy by utilizing a trust account (basically you deposit a check directly into a bank account) set up to deposit the retainer so she can continuously work without hassling her clients with a bill. Don't get me wrong, there is a bill that comes when the trust runs out, but refilling it so she can work her magic, makes it easier to keep things moving.
