Elizabeth Ligon, Social security Attorney
Relationship: Supervised lawyer
Lucinda came to work for me when I was serving as the executive director of the Seattle Community Law Center. Her role as director of the Disabled Homeless Advocacy Project was to develop the project's capacity to reach out to and provide representation to disabled individuals in the homeless community. She approached this challenge with incredible energy, enthusiasm and compassion, and quickly grew SCLC's client base and increased the project's visibility in the community. She is an extremely effective advocate, and has a gift for connecting with some of the most marginalized individuals in the community. Lucinda and I currently serve together on SCLC's board of directors, where she continues to devote time and energy to serving the needs of those living in poverty. I would recommend her services without reservation.
