Best decision

If you have recently were charged with a DUI and you don't know what to do next, then hire Callahan Law. They did an excellent job of explaining every detail to calm my anxiety. Furthermore they went beyond the DUI and consulted me on how to report it to my job. Toni was always available for my frequ...ent questions. Linda helped me get a pretrial diversion agreement to amend the charge to negligent driving. This charge reduction will be key for me to maintain my nursing license. Do yourself a favor and hire Callahan Law.

Excellent Attorney!

I hired Linda to represent me in a Domestic Violence case. My experience with her and her staff greatly exceeded my expectations. Linda and her staff were very good at communicating the status and next steps of my case. They advised me on steps that I could take to get ahead of the criminal charge... before any court hearings. These steps were invaluable in me getting a resolution on my case much faster than other people that I have spoken with in my treatment classes. With Linda's professional guidance, I was able to navigate a very difficult situation and obtain a nearly perfect resolution given the facts of my case. I've been told by multiple people that this would have only been possible by having Linda representing me. I would highly recommend Linda to anyone that is currently looking for a professional, experienced, respected, advocate to represent them and protect them throughout the complicated court process. I have absolutely no complaints about the experience I had with Linda as my attorney. My family and I are forever indebted to her for reuniting us. She is truly a miracle worker!

My experience with Callahan Law

Although I did not work directly with Linda Callahan, I did have the pleasure in working with Callahan Law attorney Stephen Grant. My experience with Callahan Law was nothing short of amazing. I felt completely confident in the support I was given throughout my case. Stephen did a really thorough job... with finding every point and detail that would benefit me in my situation and he took the time to effectively communicate with me on multiple fronts. He is very skillfully talented in what he does as an attorney and I feel very lucky to have crossed paths with him during a tough time in my life. I can positively walk away from my resolved case knowing that I received the best possible outcome. I am truly thankful.

DUI

I have received three dui's and two of them have been handled by the Callahan Law office. They're legal advice as well as affordable prices are beyond the satisfactory level. I have received my license back after retaining Jacey Liu (Callahan Law office), that would not have happened otherwise. She w...as as knowledgeable as she was helpful to my situation, also very pleasant to speak with. I am very thankful for the help that was given, and would retain them over all others I have dealt with in the past.

This is a DUI mill with no personal attention

The Callahan firm focuses exclusively on DUI's. There is some good and some bad to this - but it is my belief that this is mostly bad. I watched them very closely during the whole process with respect to my own DUI and witnessed how they churn people in and process them quickly in order to move on ...to the next case as as quickly as possible. In this context, it's all about efficiency and speed, which is not always in your best interests. I was represented by them for over a year and attended court at least 15 times - and only TWICE was Linda my actual attorney - otherwise it was whatever recent law graduate (usually a fresh-faced twenty something) that she happened to hire that week, most of whom quite obviously did not know how to handle themselves in a courtroom. You are much better off going with an older attorney who might be retired but takes a case now and then to supplement her/his income. That person will give you the individualized attention that you deserve. Callahan was no help to me whatsoever and simply processed me - as she does hundreds of clients each month - as quickly as possible. When you are confronted with a something as serious as a DUI, do you want to be processed as quickly as possible or do you want individual attention? Look: the DUI laws are fairly cut and dry in Washington State - what any attorney can and cannot do is fairly limited - so having a "DUI specialist" means very little for you. By contrast, it means everything to an attorney like Callahan, because she can process as many of us as possible in order to maximize her profit. That's what it's all about. Trust me: there's a lot of retired judges and other attorneys with a lot of experience in Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle who will take your case and really focus on you and your specific circumstances. Don't choose the DUI Processing Mill that is Callahan Law.

This is not a client review. This is obviously a lawyer who is a competitor of Callahan Law. We are not a DUI mill--far from it: we do not "churn" cases, nor do we take "100s" of DUI cases per month. If we did, we would not have almost 90 reviews -- all of them 5 star reviews. We carefully manage our caseload to give each client's case the time and effort necessary to achieve the best possible result. Our clients know they have the choice to retain Linda Callahan to appear at court hearings or pay less of a retainer to have an associate attorney appear in court with them, and they also know that Linda Callahan supervises EVERY case, including the ones in which she does not appear in court. A competitor would not know this. This is not the first time a competitor has done this shameful thing-- this review is probably from the same lawyer/competitor...
