Order from madness

I had an issue unrelated to Aspen Law Group's typical area of practice. Nonetheless, attorney Simmons decided to help and very quickly her direct manner brought an otherwise ludicrous situation under control, over the holidays no less. I would very much recommend her services.

2nd Dui case

We all mess up from time to time and well needless to say that can be very stressful from loosing your job to many other things. This was the case for me and needed a great lawyer. I am very thankful that Julia became my lawyer and walked me through this difficult process. With not only caring about ...your needs Julia knows the whole justice system and gets stuff done in a quick and timely manner. Needless to say my experience became less stressful.

Consultation

Phone manner was abrupt, all the reviews are positive, but the based on the phone conversation, I chose to go another route. She offered nothing except scare tactics, no offer of a possible solution, or any other possible avenues that could be addressed. Found that I have a few options.

Julia Simmons

This was this person's case "Dear Julia E. Simmons, I have received my 3rd DUI, and I am just over 4 years in to my 5 year deferment, I have a business, and I lose it all if I go to jail, I am being proactive, already in treatment and doing AA meetings, I have an alcohol bracelet on. I just need to talk to you about my options." As all my other reviews state, I'm very direct and honest in what people are looking at. If you review my reviews, you'll see that I've rejected cases because I believe there was absolutely nothing I can do. This client's case is BAD. She's on a deferred prosecution out of Mason county. The judge in Mason county is by far, the most difficult judge in the state and has a "No second chances" approach. I've seen this judge put out warrants and take in people for probation violations. In addition, she picked up a NEW DUI. She's already done her deferred. The stop in her case is valid. This means she's in a very very bad position. I told her, honestly, and I truly believe this to be the truth, that I don't think it's a "reasonable expectation that she not serve jail time ". Now, with that said, I've got a .49 BAC DUI, multiple offense, case dismissed.. and a 3rd DUI, Hit and Run with .29% BAC DIsmissed.....IT DOES HAPPEN... Just .. given her case and her case facts (being in mason), I don't believe it's a realistic expectation that she'll avoid jail time. So here we are, and I get a bad review for probably being the ONLY ATTORNEY to tell her the truth and tell her the ODDS of the truth. I going to email her privately. I think she's going to get a very rude awakening in multiple offense DUI law, and attorneys who BS you to get your money.

Anti Harassment Protection Order

Attorney Simmons took away the insane stress of dealing with a restraining order matter in almost one phone call. With her help, I managed to reach an amelioration that benefitted everyone in the end. She is extremely brutally honest, do not let your emotions get in the way of the truth that she tell...s you. She tells you all of the possible outcomes for your own good, as the justice system does not care about feelings. If you can get past the blunt honesty - you will be so happy you hired Attorney Simmons. She fights very aggressively for her clients, no matter what for. I understand her to be a DUI expert but she has given me wonderful insight and results regarding my restraining order case. She even was willing to work with me payment wise, so that I did not pay the full cost up front. Not to mention the hour long phone call/consult that she didn’t charge a dime for. Extremely reasonable, highly intelligent and will not take on any frivolous cases, which I can respect - as some lawyers will take any case as long as they’re being paid. I am so happy I hired attorney Simmons, and would hire her again/keep her on retainer for a variety of reasons. Absolutely a diamond in the rough and saved me so much worry regarding my case. If you’re considering hiring her, I would encourage you to. The sooner, the better. The longer she has to work on a case, the better. Blessed to have been contacted by her law firm.

2nd DUI Offense-Needed the best and found the best.

Attorney Simmons' elite reputation is as advertised. During 2021, I was going through a very bad time in my life which led me to a 2nd DUI arrest in an 10 month span. Fortunately for me, I stumbled across Ms. Simmons while searching for an attorney. She was very direct and honest about the possibilit...ies, but remained understanding and confident she could get me the best outcome. The state took quite a while to get the case sorted out, with Ms. Simmons consistently keeping me updated in spite of her busy schedule. When it was all said and done, she accomplished exactly what she said she would get me: the best possible outcome. I will say if you are someone that generally procrastinates on everything in your life, I'd advise you go find other representation. Attorney Simmons is not here to waste your time, so do not waste hers. I am immensely grateful for her legal guidance through this process and when you factor in all the variables (reliability, legal transparency, cost of representation, etc.) I would 100% recommend those who are in a bad spot to reach out to her.
