Julia Simmons made it easy for us to see her around our schedules, mainly late evenings. She was also available for weekends as well. She even responded to e-mails on her vacation, which we were so thankful for. I felt we were in good responsible hands, which gave us peace of mind. In years past,... Julia asked me to leave this review because of the previous review and the fact that I was a very nervous client with so many questions. First, I want to say that even after a long conversation on the phone with Julia on a Sunday where she told me not to bother with hiring a lawyer, Julia met with m...e again in person, gave me very detailed information of how the process worked and again tried to convince me to not waste the money on a lawyer. I didn't take her advice because I was worried. I knew there wasn't much she could do for me but nevertheless I was afraid of going it alone. I can attest to the fact Julia met me in her office at 9pm at night to answer my questions. After I retained, she met me at my request on a Sunday Morning in her office. I called and emailed frequently and Julia always, and I mean, ALWAYS, called me back. She's even called me back when she was in Ireland over Thanksgiving day weekend. I could tell when she was in court, because she'd call me back usually in the evening and said she was sorry she didn't call me earlier because of a hearing. "Refused to speak to me" - I don't believe it. I can't imagine her treating another client differently because I must have been the most annoying client she has. In the end, everything ended up being exactly what Julia said. This is proof to me that she was being honest and she is very knowledgeable about DUI. I find it sad that people would go out of their way to hurt the reputation of a young, hard working and honest lawyer like Julia is just sad.
