I recently met with Julia regarding my first time DUI case. Julia's attitude towards clients is refreshing, she tries to identify what caused the incident to occur instead of just being concerned with how deep your wallet is. She was honest in her advisement and followed up quickly after my BAC res...ults were posted to see how I was doing. I really respect her because she flat out tells you what she can really do for your case. Although I decided to not take any legal representation, Julia offered to still advise me with any questions or help I need in regards to my case. I can not begin to tell you how much Julia as helped me. One thing that was very helpful in this stressful situation is that she was straight forward with the worst and best of what the outcome could be. What can I say about Julia Simmons but….PHENOMENAL! On my second DUI while still on probation for my first I totaled my car, had a BAC of .24. I was looking at some serious penalties including at least 90 days in jail. I was going through a rough time in my life and was a stay at home mom. Never ...been to jail, never committed a crime, just your average woman. Julia is supportive but brutally honest. She properly prepared me for the potential consequences without sugar coating things. It was tough to hear but I am grateful that I never had false hopes. I just put my trust in her and did what she said. Before my sentence was decided, I checked myself into 90 day residential treatment. Although it was painful and very difficult to be away from my kids who I had never been without them a day in their life, I was able to focus on myself. I was able to discover my problems with alcohol. I learned more about myself and had more life healing in treatment than I could have ever imagined. I wasn’t sure if the judge would allow the treatment in lieu of jail but I just trusted that it would work out and I was in the best hands possible. Not only did Julia fight for me and get the 90 days residential treatment instead of jail but she was able to get my probation violation vacated. For the probation violation I was supposed to do 96 hours of jail. I didn’t have to do it. She sat in court all day long, put up with judges berating her and stayed…she doesn’t give up. She is incredibly competent and knowledgeable. Also, she fought my DMV hearing and although I did have to serve a hard suspension she got it down to 90 days instead of a year!!! She is a fighter and an amazing woman!!!! I am blessed to know her. I am blessed for all she did for me. Julia, I will be eternally grateful to you!!

I went through agony trying to find a lawyer to handle my dui case let alone find a lawyer who could even tell me what I needed to do to handle the case.... I live in texas and the case was in california so a lot of conference calls and over the phone ring a round the rosie.... I was about to give up... when I found julia who said it would be no problem and within the first month I had my license back and was legal....she. called me soon after and told me she's putting in for a motion to dismiss then it was simply a waiting game. Finally I got the call where she told me the best news I heard in a long time....... CASE DISMISSED!! I freakin love you julia thank you soooooo much!!
