Valuable consultation

Joshua generously spoke to me regarding my questions on marriage, birth certificates, child support, prenuptial agreements, and divorce. He outlined key practical advice that helped me with handling my current situation and planning my future.

Moral compass

I have been around for about 50 years now and as we all know, every once in a while you may need a lawyer. Generally, contacting a lawyer means something is not going good, and is not a fun journey... I was recommended by a very close Lawyer friend of over 20 years to Josh. Due to Covid we had many... calls via phone. Its funny, if you cant see the person you are speaking with, we generally assign a perception of what they may look like, or at least I do.. I reached out to Josh to help with marriage issues in 2020 (shocker). We had many conversations and I was very impressed with the discovery work that Josh did during our calls. What I mean is; many lawyers take a case by taking sides with their clients, while this makes the client feel good, it does not always uncover all of the facts. Josh took the time to discover the person I am and the person my wife is. We discussed the situation we were in and talked about not only the history of events that led me to call him, but also discussions of moral concern. I really appreciated his ability to get a clear understanding of our situation. We have a young child and being a child of a divorce myself, it can really be hard on a child in the middle of a marriage dispute. Every situation is different as is every person. I really enjoyed working with Joshua, his insight into our problem and ability to adapt and give me many options really helped during this hard time. Trust me... my situation was an odd one. Our story has a happy ending and thanks to Josh we are all together. My story of Josh ends with the tag line at the top. Moral Compass: used in reference to a person's ability to judge what is right and wrong and act accordingly. Joshua has a very accurate Moral Compass. OH, almost forgot, I stated before about the perception of what someone looks like when you have never seen them in person or on a video call. I still think Josh sounds like a 6ft+ older guy with a long beard who may or may not smoke tobacco out of a pipe on occasion. And maybe a bit overweight... Wow, was I wrong :)
