The Washington Law Against Discrimination makes it illegal to
discriminate in hiring or discharge on the basis of sex and on the basis
of gender identity or expression. In addition, Title VII bars
discrimination on the basis of sex, which has been held to bar
discrimination against transgender persons. There are very limited

occupational qualification. Our firm practices extensively in the area
of employment discrimination against transgender individuals.
