BETH BARRETT BLOOM is a trial attorney and partner with Frank Freed Subit & Thomas LLP. She represents employees in whistleblower, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, non-compete, wage, and contract claims.
Her clients have included tech workers, school employees, publc employees, police officers, nursing home employees, and transgender employees facing discrimination in the workforce during transition.
Beth's practice approach is emotionally sensitive and solution-oriented. Litigation is always a possibility but may not be the best outcome for some clients who simply need a strong advocate in their corner. Beth handles civil matters through all stages and forms of litigation, from demand letters to mediations, from arbitrations to jury trials, and everything in between. She also contracts with other attorneys to serve as lead trial counsel.
Beth is a co-founder and past president of QLAW: The GLBT Bar Association of Washington (www.Q-Law.org). She has authored numerous articles concerning sexual orientation and the law as well as diversity in the legal profession. She is a past member of the King County Bar Association Board of Trustees and continues to support the public service mission of the KCBA.
