Excellent lawyers~be patient if you have a SS case~ it takes 6 months to get your case heard before a Judge~ the lawyers will explain & prepare you for the process. From there it may take at least another 3.5 months to have a decision made on your case. Stay positive & keep in contact with your assig...ned lawyer. Remember: Look out for yourself & double-check with your Attorney that all the pertinent paperwork is in place for the Hearing & Judge's Review. (e.g. Doctors' Records, Doctors' Letters, Any related Tests/Exams). When I say keep in contact ~ please don't call every week ~ an email once a month is fine ~ just know they don't make very much on SS cases & are not a doctor ~ they are very good @ replying to emails ~ however, do not need to hear a sob story ~ they are your Attorney dealing in facts ~ leave the rest for family/friends/doctors & as mentioned above please be patient as the SS has their own time-line as stated above. Truly amazing! I have fought with VA since 1997 with very little success. John-Paul and Maren, one of their lawyers applied to VA for me in Mar 2016 and I had the best outcome I could ever ask for from VA in Dec 2016!
