Honest attorney?? An oxy-moron you say! Nope, that's Paul from Galileo Law! Paul and his team were a god-send! I own a car dealership and am very picky about my vehicles. Unfortunately, a shipper's tow truck fell off our back hill and crunched my Tesla (not even a year old and in brand new condition). After crying my eyes out, I realized that I was going to get no where with insurance by myself. The damage to my car was almost $30k to fix, almost every panel was painted and I was without my car for 9 weeks. I found Paul on Google while looking for a diminished value attorney. Paul was very responsive and immediately came to my place of work to meet with me. We went over my case and he gave me my "treatment plan" for my car. I took it to get appraised in Lake City and then he took the case from there. After everything was said and done, I was able to get significantly more for my case by having Paul represent me, he was kind enough to even reduce his attorneys fee - YES, you heard me right, he gave me a courtesy discount for my case. I got more money for my case and was educated on every step of the process by having Paul on my side. I have recommended a few people to him so far (with being in the car industry we see a lot of diminished values) and would absolutely use him again if the occasion arose (hopefully it doesn't!!). Paul was very professional and gave me all options and educated me on each option so I was able to make the most informed decision about my case.

I want to express my thanks my total gratitude for the answer that you gave me Not only was it full of information that was crucial to my case but you actually took the time to give me a very good answer instead of the two lines that everybody else gives you because you're not getting paid for it and that is what separates you from the rest of the attorneys because everybody else is just after money if you're not paying them they're not going to speak to you you on the other hand gave me the information I needed thank you so much for taking the time but if we caring enough to actually give me good advice.

I could not be more thankful for everything Paul did for me over the course of my case. I honestly felt that my treatment, recovery, and happiness following my MVAs was something he and his team were personally invested in. He and Anna were there for me whenever I needed them - they were easy to reach, very responsive, and very understanding. He made sure to explain things to me in a way I understood, and I felt like I could tell him anything with complete confidence, which is very important in situations like this. All my questions were always answered, and I always felt like I knew just as much as Paul did. He's knowledgeable, confident, and straight forward. I can't recommend or thank him enough.

Being involved in a car accident is never fun, and the endless chiropractor, doctor and insurance appoints were even less so. So, when my chiro recommended Paul, I was pleased to have someone else go to bat for me. Paul and his team were professional, helpful, and answered all our questions. And the best part... It's all over and I didn't have to deal with it. Thanks Paul!

A woman from out of state in a rental vehicle ran a red light and totaled my car, sending me through 6 months of therapy. She intentionally gave the police the rental car's insurance information knowing full well she'd not purchased additional insurance. Meanwhile my totaled car is sitting at a body shop while we spend nearly 5 weeks trying to find who is going to pay for my car, my hospital bills and therapy. Finally I get a call at work from the woman's actual insurance company. I thought "wonderful! We're going to get this taken care of!" Come to find out she'd told her insurance company that even though she was sited at the scene, she'd claimed she did not run the light and 'it was getting dropped'. She didn't even tell them there was a witness. At this point I knew this was more than I could handle. The body shop recommended Paul Veillon. Having zero experience with lawyers and litigation, I just went with it. When I met him, I was immediately at ease. This was not the 1-800 number ambulance chaser you see on TV. He was so caring, so honest, explained everything - I mean everything as we went along. I felt like a huge weight of fear and anxiety had been lifted off of me. I felt like I was in competent, kind hands. He fought hard! I got full value on my car, including payment for the brand new tires I'd bought and two towing fees and storage fees all paid. (I love my new car!) Then he fought for the medical bills. These were tricky, because I have a history of PTSD. The accident felt to my emotions and body like an attack. Like someone had lept out of nowhere and tried to hurt me. 6 months of therapy at Harborview's CSAT was desperately needed as the PTSD symptoms escalated. That's a hard sell and never expected those bills to get paid. But this man and his amazing team totally had my back. They kept in communication with me throughout, prepared me for any eventuality, and that alone reduced my worries! Fast forward and not only were my car and related fees covered, but all my medical and mental health bills, and a tidy sum leftover to get me back on my feet. I came to feel like this legal team was family. God knows I cried many times in their offices! I was shown such kindness, I never expected to feel such support and encouragement from a law team. Paul and his team truly care about you, and they will fight the good fight for you. I trusted them implicitly, which is rare for me. I actually misd them now, that's how much they care. If you're trepidatious or feel out of your element when it comes to hiring an attorney, please start with Paul. You'll not need to go further. Just amazing.

My car was rear-ended and when I called my own insurance company, they wanted me to provide them with documentation of my medical and financial history. I was not at fault, so I didn't believe that was necessary. My husband called a reliable source, and we were referred to Paul Veillon.

I found Paul and his paralegal Anna to be professional and friendly. They took care of everything, and encouraged me to get the medical care I needed. I am not too good at record keeping, but they did all the paperwork. I was never rushed or coached, nor was my case minimized. I never doubted that my attorney had my best interests at heart. When Galileo Law opened, I had the choice to stay with the old firm or stay with Paul Veillon. I did a little research on the internet, and found he had been described as a "rising star" in Seattle. I stayed with him, and have no regrets. Paul was able to settle my case, but he would have fought for me in court if it had been necessary. He is not afraid to take on an insurance company or two.

I consider it tacky at best for a lawyer or a doctor to advertise. An ethical and skilled attorney should not have to sell himself to the public. Paul Veillon even has a "White Glove Guarantee". He offered to reduce his fee if I wasn't satisfied. However, I was satisfied. He and Anna deserved every penny.

My husband and I have referred friends to Paul Veillon, and will continue to do so.

Paul Veillon was our attorney for 5 years, his longest standing clients to date. He and his staff were always courteous and professional, offering us a beverage during office visits and even bought us lunch on one occasion.
He answered every question we had, giving us solid professional advice that worked to our favor while guiding us through our complicated case for the entire 5 years. Even after the settlement was reached he explained every figure and then gave us the option of how much he was to receive when all was said and done, even though we had a contract guaranteeing him the usual percentage.
If you are looking for solid representation and experience for your personal injury case, Galileo Law gets 5 stars by his longest serving client to date.

Paul and his team are an excellent, thorough and hard working group. Don't let big insurance companies play the bully in your personal injury case, your health is far too important!

Paul was there for me from the beginning and persevered with me over a long 1.5+yr recovery process. He was thoughtful and professional, and insisted on a diligent care regiment towards recovery, even when I was feeling "better". In the end my case was settled at a more than satisfactory outcome, both physically and financially.

Whatever your legal needs may be, I genuinely hope that you consider hiring Paul and his staff to defend your case. They are a quality team and their expertise in the area really matters!

  • Legal Malpractice Risk

Paul Veillon was working for the Wattel & York Firm when he was my attorney in 2013. I followed Paul's advice and took my car to the automotive repair shop that was not in my area because he repeatedly told me to get the best service and support I needed to go to that specific shop. Also following his advice I did visit his choice of chiropractors for my pain issues.

The chiropractor was great, however the issue with my car was mis-handled. Paul called me to tell me that the insurance company totaled the car and the amount they would pay covers the remaining balance on the loan of my car. He told me the car shop wanted to purchase it for x amount and was that ok with me. I told him as long as the car loan would be paid off it's no difference to me where the car ends up, especially since I have no idea what happens to totaled cars. Unfortunately his letting the shop pay for the car nullified my gap insurance requiring I pay a very substantial balance. Paul left the firm around that time but the firm said they would pay the difference on my loan but only if I signed a document promising I would not sue them for mal-practice. In light of how Paul mis-handled my car, placing me in a very difficult position, I can not offer a positive review, and I would encourage people to find a more competent attorney. If a MVA attorney isn't aware of how to handle a totaled car without risking their clients gap insurance they are not very qualified in their field.

Paul Michael Veillon’s response: “This circumstance did arise at unfortunate timing. As Brenda mentioned, I left Wattel & York just as her total loss claim was resolving. I left Wattel & York for a reason. As a leading property damage and diminished value attorney had I been able to handle that portion of the claim to its conclusion, two things would have been different. First, as soon as we discovered the issue with the GAP coverage I would have insisted that the insurance company pay to total the vehicle rather than permitting the body shop to purchase it, or else required the shop to pay the loan balance for the privilege of purchasing the vehicle. I'm not sure why Wattel & York didn't do that after I left the firm. Second, I would have never, ever conditioned taking responsibility for a problem on a client's promising not to bring a malpractice claim. At Galileo Law, if we're responsible for a mistake, we step up, no questions asked. It's part of our ethical obligations as well as our firm's White Glove Service Guarantee. But having encountered this problem many times, the outcome is fair and favorable when I can handle the issue to its conclusion. I'm very sorry for Brenda's experience.”
