Sharon Curtis, DUI and DWI Attorney
As the founder of AVVO, Mark has invented a service that allows consumers to find attorneys to assist them as a result of the attorney's experience, training, qualifications and most importantly, as a result of their real life successes in helping former clients. For a solo practice criminal law attorney like me, it has saved me thousands of dollars in advertising by allowing former clients of mine to post on AVVO real life stories of how we worked together to achieve positive results in their cases and ultimately for their future. Thanks for caring about providing the best vehicle to allow people in need of legal services to find attorneys who care and will work hard and fight for their clients. You are the best!
Steven Gursten, Personal injury Attorney
I invited Mark to speak to a group of some of the nation’s finest trial lawyers last year. There were at least 30 former and current state trial lawyer presidents and 2 past presidents of the American Association for Justice in the room. Mark spoke for 3 hours, and he captivated the room with his excellent presentation. He spoke on how lawyers and the public are using the Internet, and on how the Internet is merging the practice of law and the business of law. Just as impressive was how gracious and helpful Mark was with the people he met before his seminar. Mark cares and it shows through his personal interactions with the people he meets. That brings me to Avvo. Mark has been instrumental in shaping Avvo and to me Avvo serves a very unique purpose. It's a quality control tool. It protects an otherwise unsuspecting public by distinguishing the lawyers who deserve recognition within the legal profession, and away from what has otherwise become the wild west of legal advertising.
Sharon Chirichillo, Criminal defense Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I highly endorse this lawyer's work. Mark is tireless, an innovator within creative sytems bringing consumers accessible information in understanding who is who within the legal community. It takes courage to start a different path and by bringing in consumers ability to rate services with attorneys can only help the legal profession's image by being for the people.
