Jessica Eaves Mathews is America’s Advocate for Women in Business®, an award-winning entrepreneur, intellectual property & business lawyer, best-selling author, sought-after speaker, and leading authority on helping women entrepreneurs and executives step into their power and create a brilliant business, career and life on their own terms.


She is the co-author of the #1 Best Selling book, Wonder Women: How Western Women Will Save the World, has been featured on MSNBC, Oprah Magazine,, NBC, Oxygen, Allure Magazine, and is the Silver Stevie® award winner for Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.


Jessica has spent her legal career representing businesses and business owners, from solopreneurs, to mom and pop stores and restaurants, to professional service-providers, to Fortune 500 companies and some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world. She was the head of litigation and compliance for Paul Allen, the co-founder of Microsoft. She has been there in every phase of the business life cycle from start-up on.


As principal of Eaves Mathews LLC, she advised businesses on a variety of matters, including entity formation, trademark and copyright, IP, Internet Law, contracts.


She serves as virtual General Counsel for small and mid-sized businesses each month, advising them on a myriad of legal issues that arise from daily operations.

She is an adjunct professor at University of New Mexico Law School, a member of the New Mexico Economic Development Council, co-founder and Chief Legal Officer for The Virtual Accelerator™, a virtual business accelerator for startups, and co-founder of Hautepreneurs™, the Premier Peer Network for New Mexico’s Women Entrepreneurs.


Jessica also provides legal services in art law. Jessica's art law practice provides advice and counseling for private collectors, museums, and galleries on a variety of art transactional issues, including art and cultural object acquisitions, sales, donations and loans. We are the only firm in Washington State offering expertise and legal services dedicated to art transactions and disputes.  Jessica has served as an Adjunct Professor of Art and Cultural Heritage Law at Seattle University School of Law.
