More than 25 years of law firm experience, including 18 years as a litigation, bankruptcy and family law paralegal prior to becoming an attorney. Currently serving as Chair of the WSBA Law Clerk Board, President of the West Seattle Business Alliance, and as a member of the Camp Long Advisory Council. Recognized as a 2010 "Rising Star" by Washington Law & Politics Magazine. Hobbies include hiking, alpine scrambling, rock climbing, mountaineering, adventure travel, playing baseball, writing, photography, and music. Author of several hiking and climbing guide books; formerly a correspondent to several outdoor magazines including Climbing, Rock & Ice, and Outside.
