Hard working lawyer who truly cares

    I divorced my husband when he began an affair with my best friend who is a veterinarian.  He ended up with a very soft landing because their combined incomes exceed $17,000 per month and they live in a mini-mansion on 25 acres.  I ended up with an abusive boyfriend and had to move out of the bo...yfriend’s in an emergency and had some health issues on top of that.  I ended up having to live with a friend and was unemployed.  Well, my ex-husband smelled blood in the water and hired a highfalutin law firm and paid them a huge retainer to try to get custody of our teenagers away from me and to stop his child support of only $900 per month.  I was terrified, but thank God through friends was able to hire Jason Benjamin who absolutely TORE UP my ex in court while his expensive lawyer stood there reading her argument from a script.  The judge threw out his case and I retained my custody of our children and my child support!  At a previous hearing, Jason was able to get the court to require my ex to pay my lawyer fees.  If you are scared to death, get Jason on your side! Jason is someone who truly cares about his clients and works hard to get his clients the results they want.

Amazing, fast and very understanding.

I posted a question here and was showed recommendations for lawyers to contact, Mr. Benjamin was the one I sent a message to and he responded to me within minutes. It was Sunday (and a holiday weekend) and I had no hope of speaking to anyone for a few days. He met with me the same day, yes on a Sunda...y, and we were before a judge the very next morning. He did what any other attorney would take a few days to do in a matter of an hour. He was understanding of my case and was ready for battle the next morning. Within 12 hours my children were in my custody and out of the hazardous environment they'd been subjected to. I can't say enough positive things, if you are on the fence at all please take my advice and hire Mr. Benjamin, it will be the best decision you could make...I know it was for me.

Jason and his team are outstanding!!

My divorce and custody case is, for lack of a better term, a mess. My ex husband and I went back and forth for a few YEARS, pro se, and without either of us really knowing what we were doing AT ALL, our case file is a disaster. I hired Jason towards the beginning of this fiasco and we triumphed every... time in court. I came upon financial issues and could not pay off the rest of what I owed him to remain my lawyer, so I had to go back to pro se. Almost 2 years later, when I had the means to pay him in full (a flat rate that guaranteed his serves through trial) I went straight back to his office and he not only remembered me, but he also remembered almost every tiny detail of my case, to include some things I personally didn't even remember. With him and his amazing team (Melissa, Lindsay, and Jess) in my corner, we have made more leaps and bounds in my divorce and custody in these short months than I ever made on my own over a matter of years. His court room presence is strong and you can tell without a doubt that he truly takes pride in helping those he serves as their lawyer. If I had my pick of any lawyer in the greater pierce county area, I would always pick Jason, no question about it. I will never be able to thank Jason and his team enough for all they have done for me through this difficult time of my life. They fight for what's right and because of him, I have come out on top in my case. 10 out of 10 times, I would highly recommend Jason and his team!!!

Outstanding Lawyer!!!

I started my on-line search for an attorney approximately 18 months ago. I didn’t know any lawyers in the Tacoma area, so I was relying on what I read in reviews to help me select the legal council to help me through my intimate committed relationship breakup and the ensuing custody battle for our c...hild. When I met with Jason he quickly gained an understanding of my situation, was confident from the start and offered a clear and concise path forward to address my unique situation. My case ended up in trial in spite of efforts to negotiate a settlement. The trial process was difficult emotionally, but from Jason’s command of the court room, his rapport with the Judge and court personnel and his tight grasp on legal matters it was clear he was absolutely the best lawyer in the courtroom. The end result of trial was precisely as Jason had predicted, and for some items even more in my favor. I was awarded a large sum of money and custodial parent with a great parenting plan for my child. In addition, he prices his legal services as a flat fee, no matter how much effort is required to get resolution. At first I was skeptical, but after going through many, many unplanned court hearings and a full 4 day trial, my legal costs were about 15% of what the other side had spent. In summary, best lawyer in the courtroom, achieved best possible outcome and was by far the lowest cost alternative. No doubt in my mind, he was absolutely the best attorney for me and I’d recommend him unequivocally to anyone looking for family law council.

Child Custody

Jason is awesome! I interviewed several attorneys before deciding to hire Jason for a major modification to our parenting plan resulting in change of primary custody and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Jason fought for me and my children through 3 separate hearings and trial. He explained to ...me what was going to happen in the beginning and it all happened exactly as he said it would from start to finish. The thing I appreciated the most about Jason is he is a fighter. He thought of his own kids when considering what was acceptable for mine; he genuinely cared. Even when we "won", if the outcome wasn't entirely acceptable he would appeal and continue the fight until we got everything we wanted. The way he presented in the courtroom was nothing less than impressive, I could mention something to him minutes prior and he incorporated it into his speech seamlessly. I can not say enough good things and I am so grateful to Jason and his staff, Melissa, Lindsay. Our trial ended just yesterday and I now have custody of my 3 children thanks to them. I can not thank them enough for what they were able to accomplish for our family.
