Jason Benjamin reunited me with my daughter! He is amazing.

Jason Benjamin was the 2nd lawyer I hired in my terrible custody battle. My 8 month old baby was taken away from me because of ridiculous lies and a terrible light that my ex husband set me in. The first lawyer I had got me nowhere, after spending thousands of dollars and losing my breastfeeding baby... I decided to switch to Jason. He took immediate action, got me my baby back, and never gave up when my ex husband continued to file motion after motion against me when a ruling didn't go his way. Jason was honest with me, was always the perfect balance of aggressive and supportive, and never gave up. If it wasn't for him I would be seeing my baby once a week for a few hours supervised still. When I have never been anything but a beyond capable responsible mother. Jason knew I was being treated unfairly and he did amazing work in getting my life and child back. Unlike most lawyers- he doesn't waste time talking about things that won't help the case just to rack up your bills. He truly cares about helping people, not screwing them and leading them on to make more money. I wish there were more than five stars available to give him because he deserves ten.

#1 Divorce Lawyer

I went to Jason after having an attorney that didn't communicate with me. Jason always kept me informed and told me exactly what I needed to do during my divorce and child custody situation. Anytime I had a question I would email him and he would respond so quickly. He is an excellent lawyer and I'm ...very happy to have found him.

Outstanding Attorney, Highly Recommended for Contentious Child Relocation Cases

Jason is an outstanding attorney and we highly recommend him for other clients going through contentious relocation cases. Jason is truly an expert, knows the laws of relocation, and represents his clients with confidence. After remarrying a successful professional man, we decided to relocate fr...om Tacoma to the San Francisco Bay Area. My husband was accepted into a prestigious MBA program and with my PhD, we were certain we would secure high paying positions in the area. We consulted with Jason early on and he assured us that we would have no problem relocating the children with us. Our original parenting plan specified that the children spent 60% of their time in our home and I was named as the primary parent. The children’s father hired an expensive attorney from one of the largest firms in Pierce County to block the relocation. Their side submitted motions of: contempt, assignment of a Guardian Ad Lidem, and even a restraining order. Jason easily defended us against each motion. Our relocation went to trial. The other side had 14 witnesses ready to testify about the strength of this bond with the children. Jason used his expertise to reduce their witness list to 4 people. Jason was confident and at ease at trial, which reassured us the case would go in our favor. He was aggressive where needed and knew when to let a witness simply finish testifying to speed the trial along. Jason talked circles around the other attorney. It was evident that Jason was the skilled and experienced attorney, while the other side struggled to present their case. We later found out that the other side spent 10x the amount on attorney fees than we did with Jason. We were granted full custody of the children. Jason even negotiated for us to be allowed to fly the children to the Bay Area the morning following the trial. We are so thankful to Jason and his team for helping our family.

Positive, knowledgeable, & aggressive

Third party custody is one of the toughest to acquire in Wa state Mr.Benjamin won my case. He was very knowledgable & extremely aggressive in The court room. He is truly gifted with his career. He truly believes in what's right for his clients.

Skill and Experience When You Need Them - A Winning Combination - Highly Recommended

I am pleased to have this opportunity to provide a review of the excellent legal counsel and service we received from Attorney Jason Benjamin of Lakewood. Over the past year since my first meeting with him, he expertly guided us through our child custody case. Every document filing and court date we...re well-prepared, complete and on time. His extensive knowledge and experience in family law repeatedly served us well and kept our case on track and within our expenses. I found it easy to schedule appointments when needed. His predictions and planning were accurate and he was responsive to our concerns, questions, telephone calls, and emails. His staff was also very helpful. When it came time for our trial, he was reassuringly relaxed and well-prepared, accurately anticipating what would transpire. His strategy in court demonstrated his skill and experience as an attorney in that arena. Just as important to us as the very professional and effective manner that he presented our case, he was also gracious and respectful to our loved one who was contesting our case. Throughout our experience with him, I found Jason to be thorough, honest in his assessments of our case, empathetic and pleasant to work with. His fees were very reasonable.
