Colette and I were opposing counsel on a matter in 2005. The case presented a number of novel legal issues involving technology (specifically, ownership of the right to distribute content via RSS feeds). Our clients were able to resolve the dispute between them. In the process of representing her client, Colette was consistently well-prepared, and quite knowledgeable about both the facts of the case and the law. She was firm in her advocacy, yet appropriately flexible in the process of arriving at a settlement.
