also known as Elizabeth Turner Smith
I am proud to have been a lawyer for over 20 years. I knew I wanted to be a lawyer when I was in college but didn't have the resources to go straight to law school, so I started my career as a legal assistant and paralegal. 12 years later, I went to law school and started my own practice. For most of my clients, hiring a lawyer is something they never envisioned doing; their cases are extremely important to them, and they deserve a lawyer who acknowledges and respect that.
One of the reasons I love mediation and arbitration is because it gives me the opportunity to help people make a difficult time in their lives a little easier. I am a fully trained mediator and practice evaluative mediation.
I have a great deal of experience in cases involving traditional and non-traditional relationships, and work hard to resolve cases that need to be resolved while fighting the fights that need to be fought.

Elizabeth is a hard-working, diligent attorney who will give her all for her clients. I worked with her on several matters, and her attention to detail was amazing. She was able to see the pros and cons of each matter, which made her more capable of fighting for her side. I believe she would be good at any matter she undertook.
Lainie Hammond Ethics and professional responsibility Attorney
Ms. Turner worked with me for almost 8 years. She provided exemplary counsel. I worked with Ms. Turner at the Washington State Bar Association's Law Fund for Client Protection. Our fund was her client, and her dedication to researching each issue we faced was amazing. Ms. Turner is personable, caring, incredibly professional, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Ms. Turner ultimately achieved a leadership role in the national organization for our fund. I know her knowledge and experience with family law proceedings, performance in the courtroom, and overall representation to be no less than outstanding. Anyone who has her as an advocate is as fortunate as our fund was for the many years she served us.
