About me

Devon's practice focuses on insurance recovery matters for policy holders, including insurance coverage litigation. Devon takes a global approach to her practice, which also includes advising clients regarding all aspects of insurance coverage; assisting in development of insurance programs for new construction, renovation, and demolition projects; preparing and negotiating construction and design contracts; and handling matters at all stages of litigation and dispute resolution, including motion practice in state and federal courts and appellate briefing in contract and insurance matters. Mediation and arbitration are also an integral part of Devon's practice.

Devon is committed to the successful resolution of insurance claims on behalf of her policy holder clients. Devon's aggressive and thorough claims preparation provides successful and cost-effective results for her clients, by working closely with them to document and prove claims in the adjustment process, and avoid litigation if possible. When litigation is necessary, Devon provides extensive experience in insurance litigation at trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts. Moreover, by combining her knowledge of both construction law and insurance coverage, Devon is uniquely qualified to develop and bring about solutions to her clients' construction and design defect problems through insurance, including professional and general liability policies, as well as property insurance policies.
