Dainen creates clear and timely solutions for condominium and homeowner associations. He provides advice, counsel, and practical advice across a wide range of legal and business challenges community associations face. Dainen's practice focuses primarily on assessment collection and related litigation.
Dainen's past legal experience includes resolving consumer debt. He successfully guided thousands of individuals and families through Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and handled select debt defense and foreclosure defense matters. Washington Super Lawyers Magazine selected him to its "Rising Stars" list in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, a selective honor reserved for the top 2.5% of lawyers in the state of Washington under 40.
Dainen is an experienced bar association leader. He is the past President of the Asian Bar Association of Washington, the Washington Young Lawyers Division, and QLaw: the GLBT Bar Association of Washington. Dainen is the 2016-2017 Chair of the Self-Insurers & Risk Managers Committee of the 30,000-member Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS). He is serving as the Regional Governor for the Northwest Region of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
Outside of work and his volunteer and community service, Dainen enjoys travel, spending time with family, and weather permitting, outdoors activities including hiking, running, and camping.
