Western Washington condominium and homeowner associations count on my law firm for expert advice and practical solutions to the legal and business challenges facing their communities. I also represent select homeowners, creditors, and debtors in real estate and debtor-creditor matters.
My professional career includes helping thousands of families and individuals get a fresh start free from debt. I've guided thousands of individuals and families through Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases both before and after the 2005 reform act, and successfully handled foreclosure and debt defense cases. Washington Super Lawyers Magazine named me to the "Rising Stars" list in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, a selective honor reserved for the top 2.5% of Washington lawyers under 40.
I am also an experienced bar association leader, most recently serving as President of The Asian Bar Association of Washington. I am a past President of the Washington Young Lawyers Division and of QLaw, Washington's LGBTQ bar association. I am serving as Chair of the American Bar Association, Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), Self-Insurers & Risk Managers (SIRM) Committee for 2016-2017, a member group for risk management and self-insurance practitioners. TIPS is one of the largest sections in the ABA. Additionally, I'm very proud to serve as Northwest Regional Governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) during 2016-2018.
In addition to work, volunteer commitments, and community service, I enjoy travel, spending time with family, and weather permitting, outdoors activities such as hiking, camping, and stand-up paddleboarding.
