unprofessional

I hired Mr Lutz Sept 2014 to handle my complicated divorce case. At the initial consultation he requested 12K deposit stating that it would be sufficient to take me to trial. He used this $$$$ fast, requesting another 5K before trial. After trial, he received another 7K in attorney fees awarded from ...my x-wife. After the trial, he completely ignored to follow up on order to take my x-wife off the house title or start on paperwork to work on division on 401K. BUT,he spent multiple hours (ALL APPEARING ON MY STATEMENT) to be sure his awarded 7K attorney fees paid by my x-wife on time. He also meticuliosly followed on division of our ROTH IRA that, according to his secretary, should be received by me as a check with my name on. As a deal with opposing attorney, this ROTH IRA money was deposited on Mr Lutz name in his trust account, and, without letting me know, Mr Lutz helped himself for another 8K as his attorney fee. I had to have one hour meeting with Mr Lutz demanding my pension money back telling him to file a complain with WA Bar association. Mr Lutz bagged me not to file complain, return pension money and stated he will not sew me to put lien on my house. In a few weeks, i received a letter that he IS filed a case against me for the money I "own" him. He surely worked hard to be sure he gets all money he could from opposing side, charging his client for this hard work. Taking my pension money was totally un ethical, and now I have another trial to defend myself against his allegations and unreasonable charges. DONT TRUST THIS ATTORNEY! Very unprofessional conduct!

Not all posts are what they appear. The writer of this post has contacted my office in regards to a law suite pending against him. The writer made it clear that he would remove this post if I would agree to settle his account for approximately 1/4 of what was owed. I have chosen, on principle, not to settle this account.

Divorce

I met with Mr. Lutz and he told me he would help me with my divorce. I didn't have enough money to retain his services, but he said that I seemed pretty intelligent and for less money he would advise me and guide me through the necessary steps through my divorce. He assured me that he would help me w...ith any questions or help I needed. He emailed me all the necessary paperwork. I filled everything out accordingly and emailed it back to him for his review. At our second scheduled appointment, he said he was due in court and passed me off to his office clerk, who is attending college to become an attorney. Mr. Lutz then left his office to go to court. His office clerk reviewed, adjusted wording and electronically filed for me. I went to my first court date and was told that the paperwork showed that Mr. Lutz was representing me and that I could not represent myself because of it. The paperwork had been filed incorrectly. His office clerk made the changes so that I could move forward. Long story short, this experience continued in this direction the entire time. I paid more than $900 to Mr. Lutz and I am still married and no closer to being divorced than the I was at my first appointment. I tried to work this out with Mr. Lutz, but all contact was intercepted by his office clerk and she told me that I would have to pay additional monies for anymore guidance.

It is always an unfortunate situation when a client leaves our office unhappy for any reason. Paralegal Services and Consultations are something that most law firms offer as a way to provide legal help to those who may need assistance with preparing documents but cannot afford the costs of an attorney appearing on their behalf. When these type of services are rendered, it is the clients responsibility to represent themselves at court hearings. Our office often monitors the outcome of these hearings to see if there was anything that could have been done better on our part. In this particular case, our office prepared the documents, filed and confirmed the hearing and submitted working copies for the judge. Despite all of the preparation that our office put into the case, the client and the other party agreed at both the Ex Parte and Temporary Orders hearings to dismiss the action and the judge signed off on their agreement. The client called our office to complain about the outcomes but failed to provide this critical information when she demanded that the paralegal tell her why things didn't go as she had expected. Of the approximately $900 the the client is upset about having to pay, $291 represents the fee for filing for a divorce in Washington State. Our office strives to provide the requested services without unnecessary charges, however, we have no control over the costs required by the courts. Our office strives to provide the best possible experience for our clients and is always willing to go the extra mile to "Help make things right". We invite you to review the things that other clients have written about us and then contact our office and find out for yourself the expertise and services we have to offer.

worst lawyer ever

Mr Lutz failed in every aspect of my divorce case. He showed up to court unprepared and could not remember important aspects of my case.
