I founded VJ Law Firm in Fall 2010 with a simple vision: Provide fast, affordable legal services to individuals, families and small-businesses in the Seattle Eastside. Over the past five years, I have been fortunate to have assisted hundreds of clients in bankruptcy, business formation, estate planning and real estate.
I am the founding member of Washington State Bar Assoication's Low Bono section and offer probono services to local non-profits through Wayfind, and serve the needs of low-income clients by vounteering at various Eastside neighborhood clinics. I also assisted homeowners in protecting their homes by volunteering at the Northwest Justice Project's Home Foreclosure Legal Aid program. I earned my J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and have a certificate in paralegal studies from University of Washington. I am admitted into Washington state and Federal district courts, and currently on the Executive Committee of the Washington State Bar Association solo and small practice section. I have also served as Chair of the Business Law and Solo/Small Firm sections of the King County Bar Association and as board director in South Asian Bar Association of Washington. I am also an active member of diversity groups such as Washington Women Lawyers, Mother Attorneys of Seattle, Washington Young Lawyers and South Asian Bar Association of Washington. I also serve as ambassador to the Sammamish and Issaquah Chambers of Commerce. I was born and raised in New Delhi, India and fluent in Hindi and Tamil. I live in Sammamish with my husband and two kids and outside of work, enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and hiking.
