This is a fake review, generated by a competitor. I challenge the reviewer to provide his or her real name. "Kevin" is a fake name. After this review was posted, I checked my files and checked with my clients in an effort to determine the validity of this review. I represented two (2) clients named "Kevin" in 2019; both clients confirmed for me that they were happy with my service and did not post this review. "Kevin" is a fake name. Furthermore, the information contained in this review is false. For example, there is no "$199 ticket" issued by police in Washington state; ticket fines are determined by a schedule established by the state Supreme Court and the schedule does not include a $199 ticket fine. Furthermore, I have never charged an attorney fee of $199. Thus, this reviewer posted false information. Unfortunately, AVVO refuses to check the validity of information posted by reviewers on the AVVO site. I informed AVVO by email that the information contained in this review is false; AVVO responded by email that "(AVVO) does not verify the information in client reviews.... all reviews on Avvo.com are the responsibility of the reviewers, and under (federal law) 47 USC 230, Avvo, Inc. cannot be held liable for making Avvo.com available to reviewers". It is therefore quite easy for a person to post fake reviews on AVVO.
