If he is in custody on a warrant from another state the Oregon portion of the proceeding will focus on his position on extradition. The Judge will want to know if he wants a hearing or if he is willing to agree to be extradited. Many factors (including credit for the time he is in jail) will need to be considered with the aid of an Oregon attorney.
