Matthew G. Matrisciano expertly assists clients with estate planning, revocable living trusts, wills, irrevocable trusts, medical and health care powers of attorney, financial powers of attorney, probate and estate administration and trust administration, and other related areas of practice.

To be a successful estate planner, an attorney should behave more like a family consultant and advisor. Matthew Matrisciano wanted to be a planner and consultant for most of his adult life. He worked in real estate briefly during college before deciding to continue his education so he could become a lawyer and learn to provide the best advice to his clients and help them build their legacy. He ultimately graduated with a joint JD/MBA degree from Willamette University and worked for a while in estate planning, nonprofit business planning, and business litigation. He then moved to Bend where he focused on criminal law, estate planning, and probate.

Following his passion for estate planning, he opened MGM Law Firm. There he is excited to apply his knowledge and expertise to a variety of circumstances to help build solutions for clients.

      Mr Matrisciano revised and updated a very complicated family trust for us.

      We felt secure with his knowledge, guidance and his genuine concern that the trust and related issues were all proper. This was a huge burden relieved for us. The previous attorney let us slip through the cracks and showed little interest or patience when we called, shuffling us off onto his paralegal. Mr Matrisciano performed the myriad of complicated tasks in going over every detail of the trust efficiently and effectively. We are definitely pleased and relieved to have used him.

      Matthew was instrumental from beginning to end, in writing my parent’s will to walking me, as executor of the estate, through every step of probate. I had little knowledge of what needed to be done. I felt overwhelmed often but Matthew reassured me and gave me tasks to do in digestible pieces so I could handle the estate easily. We are grateful for he calm guidance when we needed it most!

      Matt recently prepared my estate portfolio (trust, will, advance directive, etc), and I wanted to be sure to share my positive experience with others seeking similar legal services. I found Matt to be highly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of estate planning, tax law and decisions involving incapacitation and end-of-life medical care. I never felt rushed during our appointments, and Matt made a point of taking the time to fully address and answer all of my questions (which were numerous!), both face-to-face and offline/via email. He patiently worked with me to iteratively refine the documents in my estate portfolio to meet my personal needs, ensuring that every detail was accounted for.
