This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means the lawyer did something wrong but the bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

We hired Ed Daniels in April 2014 to help with a Trustee/Estate issue. He did not offer any legal advice, was not responsive and we found him to be very passively aggressive. Always on vacation or leaving office early. Took days to hear back from him. His lack of urgency costs us thousands of dollars along with items money can never replace. Horrible follow through.

I hired Daniels to help me through my divorce in 2014. He wasted months of my time and thousands of dollars. He was dishonest about requesting documents I had specifically asked for, he often "misplaced" important documents that I gave him, he laughed off my concerns and obviously did not have my interests in mind.

Mostly I liked him, but in court, he was way too passive...giving in so much to the other attorney, letting the opposing attorney take over, making no objections at all...weakening my case. He negotiated with the other attorney behind my back without me being present to know what was going on.
