I wanted to take a moment and thank Ryan Johnson at Johnson and Taylor, Personal Injury and Family Law, for his assistance representing me in my divorce almost five years ago. I wanted to write the review now as I am planning on retaining Ryan again to represent me in a "Change of Judgment" I am filing to garner more visitation of my children. During the process of my divorce he was always prompt, fair and realistic and kept costs to a minimum as the divorce was uncontested and we settled out of court. I highly recommend Ryan and his firm in any litigation you need assistance with.

Ryan is an amazing attorney, and I would recommend him to anyone! He was more honest and fair than any other lawyer I've ever used, and he works very hard for his clients. Anyone who hires Ryan will be making the right choice!

I contacted Ryan Johnson for a consultation regarding how to proceed with a child support issue. After discussing the pertinent facts, Ryan recommended I take no action and wait to see if a couple of circumstances changed. I was impressed that he didn't want to just take my money and go do battle but rather had my best interests in mind.
As it turns out several months later circumstances changed and I was now in need of his services. Ryan had a game plan that was very well thought out and had several moving pieces. Ryan was fast to take action and communicated with me quickly; usually with an email followed by a phone call. Ryan finished my case successfully and under budget.

Ryan Johnson successfully represented us in a family law case. His legal advice was straight forward and affordable. Ryan practices with integrity and concern for his clients. We highly respected the way he handled the case. Thanks to his dedication, determination and professionalism, My husband now has legal rights over his daughter's well-being. We would definitely recommend Ryan Johnson of Johnson and Taylor law.

Ryan Johnson represented me in reopening my divorce and child support agreement against my ex, who is also an attorney. He was always prompt and respectful, his staff very helpful, and I believe he gave excellent advice on strategy. From the beginning, he was clear about what I was asking for and what was a reasonable expectation of outcome. He was dead right, too.
Because of time and circumstances, it had become a very complex issue. I had long since moved from Salem to Portland, and my original attorney retired. The plaintiff dragged her feet and it appeared it would be a long, protracted court case, there had already been almost 10 pleadings and status conferences. The entire time, I felt comfortable with him representing me. Ryan pressed all the issues firmly, and through the court kept her feet to the fire, and ultimately convinced her to settle. Throughout, I thought he was fair and kind, and he even advised me when I was being unreasonable. To this day, my ex still complains what a persistent, tenacious opponent he was.
When it was all finalized, the cost was less than what he had estimated to be the upper end, with a lot more court appearances than he had expected.
Since then, I have consulted him multiple times for other legal issues, and have found his advice to be well thought and fair.
Let me put it another way: I have an autoimmune disorder, and I wish my medical specialists could be as attentive and diligent as he is.

Ryan is fair, thorough and prompt. There were never any unnecessary delays on Ryan's part. He was quick to respond to every aspect of my case and "went the extra mile," interceding on my behalf even before I asked him.
The office staff, Alma in particular, is a pleasure to work with. They all worked hard to make a difficult time easier.
Ryan's office wall is laterally papered with Thank You cards from happy clients. And for good reason. I can highly recommend the office of Johnson & Taylor.

Ryan exceeded my already high expectations. He knew the right strategy to take on a tough custody battle. As a father in Oregon, I knew I had an uphill battle in this "Pro-Mom" state. Following his guidance, I not only won my case receiving sole custody, but Ryan even got me child support and permission to move my son out of state.

Nobody wants to have a custody battle, but both Ryan and Alyssa were extremely honest, helpful, and knowledgeable about the process, which made everything far more bearable. They were quick to respond to email and phone calls when I had a question, and always kept me informed about what was happening. They were both always extremely prepared and did the things that they said they were going to do. They were also clear about costs and what to expect. Very, very helpful!

Ryan took on my custody case in the 11th hour. He had over a year of "catching up" to do in just a few weeks time. He worked hard, gave excellent advice, and helped keep me calm. He did win the case for me, but I can honestly say that my review would not have changed if we hadn't. He was very honest in what he thought through the whole process. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone needing representation for a custody case.
