Mr. Alvey is a wonderful lawyer and man, as I experienced when he represented me in my personal injury claim over a car accident that happened in November 2009. He has been responsive, always explaining the process and status, and making sure I made the decisions that were mine to make. At one point, I got frustrated that the process was taking too long and I needed a "meeting of the minds" discussion. With his years of experience and his strength of character, I learned that he is integrous, has great values, and really did "get" my case and situation. Yet he understood the other side of the equation, so he could explain their process to me as well. He also let me know when he was frustrated with the responses of the people we were opposing, which I found very helpful in managing my own level of frustration.
During my case, my deposition was taken. During the 4+ hour interview, Mr. Alvey made sure that I was prepared, breaks were taken when I needed them, he kept the opposing attorney in check, and made sure my emotions were kept as even as possible. At one point, I got upset at the opposing attorney's questions and it seemed he didn’t understand my responsibilities or losses. Mr. Alvey stopped the deposition and allowed me to get up and walk out so I could cool off as he listened to me over my upset. And he made sure I knew I was doing a good job -- which, since I'd never had my deposition taken, was a definite confidence booster.
When we discussed the money of the case, Mr. Alvey was very generous and understanding of my personal situation. He additionally represented me in court issues over third party medical bills and took care of the additional Judgments and settling of them when we finally were paid funds from the PI case. This was completely above and beyond the representation that I hired him for, and yet extremely helpful in the navigation of this whole section of my life. My PI case was recently concluded in 2013.
Besides having my respect as a wonderful attorney, he is a great man with an incredible character. He took a stand for me on my case and helped me through the entire legal process. He handled my main PI case with class, conviction and professionalism through to conclusion, as well as all the ancillary issues that came with it. I’m a fan and I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone.

My Husband and I hired Martin Alvey for a Workers Compensation issue. Out of all the attorney's that we called Marty responded immediately. It was the best thing we ever did hiring him. Marty and his staff went over and beyond what a typical law office would do for their clients. Most times when ever an attorney is involved, you are left in the dark about a lot of things, such as legal terminology, or even what is going to happen next. Marty and his staff kept us completely informed explaining in detail in layman's terms what everything meant and how it was going to work. Would we hire this attorney again? YES! Would we recommend him? YES!
