My daughter was charged with shoplifting. First time offense and we were clearly in the dark about how to proceed. We received a letter from Erik's law office which offered a free consultation. Extremely wary of lawyers, but feeling we had nothing to lose, we gave him a call. Had to leave a voice mai...l, but got a call returned later that afternoon. He asked specific questions about her arrest, and explained the possible outcomes, fines, jail time, etc.... He did not oversell himself, but laid out the facts. Even if we had chosen not to retain Erik, we learned a lot from that call. We were very satisfied with the deal Erik negotiated for my daughter and were very relieved to put this event behind us.
