My daughter was charged with shoplifting. First time offense and we were clearly in the dark about how to proceed. We received a letter from Erik's law office which offered a free consultation. Extremely wary of lawyers, but feeling we had nothing to lose, we gave him a call. Had to leave a voice mai...l, but got a call returned later that afternoon. He asked specific questions about her arrest, and explained the possible outcomes, fines, jail time, etc.... He did not oversell himself, but laid out the facts. Even if we had chosen not to retain Erik, we learned a lot from that call. Throughout the case, his correspondence was clear, any questions we had were answered in a timely manner, his fees were reasonable, and we did get a courtesy reminder call a few days before the court appearance. We were very satisfied with the deal Erik negotiated for my daughter and were very relieved to put this event behind us. On the actual court date, he explained to us exactly what would happen before we went inside the courtroom, how to address the judge, and he was right beside us the entire time. His office also offers a payment plan if needed. I would definitely use Erik's law office again (although hopefully will have no need).

You couldn't have a better attorney if you had Perry Mason. Really, Mr. Nicholson did a superb job for me. I had a very difficult criminal case and a long record of prior convictions, I did less than 24 hours in jail with a minimal fine. The man knows how to present a case. Worth every dollar I paid.... I guess what I'm trying to say is he was OUTSTANDING.
