As with every other one star review floating around they sound amazing and burn through your retainer immediately without being able to articulate that anything was actually done aside from discussing the case with every partner in the firm. We spent over 2000$ with this firm before dumping them afte...r two months of being told it’s a complicated case that we had to discuss with other members of the firm. Trouble is the complicated portion of the case resolved it a week after we hired them because they missed all of their deadlines. From that point on it was a cut and dry case that they still continued to bilk us for. Their billing is horrible a third of our charges were from double billing another 3rd were for “consultations” with other members of the firm we never discussed or approved of and the final third were charging us for calling to question why they missed another deadline. They literally billed us for calling upset because they missed a filing deadline and we wanted to know why.

This review is way late (years) but I was just reminded of how thankful I am in my situation because of what Lewis was able to do for me. I was in a terrible spot and now I'm glad to say my life has turned around and I remember during dark times Lewis helped me see this light. I would highly, highly..., highly recommend Lewis.

Ous council was negligent in assisting me with proper instruction and agreed to everything the opposing council suggested without a fight. I have suffered through 5 years without proper time with my son and child support payments which I have been told are almost triple the average amount. Landerho...lm law is correcting that and making my life a lot easier. Now I get to go camping with my boy and get to enjoy our remaining years. Hire Landerholm if you want results and/or tired of dealing with shady attorneys. They are a family firm that truly helps families!

I hired Mr. Landerholm to represent me in a child custody case. My initial meeting with him was very positive, but it quickly became apparent that Mr. Landerholm likes to play mediator more than that of representing his clients as a lawyer. When after a month of not accomplishing anything (other than... a bill for each and every minute of his telephone conversations with the other attorney and emails that led nowhere), I came to the conclusion that I needed a lawyer with more experience, more strategy, and less costly conversation. Once I switched attorneys, my situation was resolved in our favor within two weeks, and we actually settled out of court. My costs with the second (very experienced) lawyer were one third the cost of Mr. Landerholm, and my lawyer actually got something done in the process. Hopefully, with more experience, Mr. Landerholm with become more efficient and more affordable.

You meet with the lead attorney and get passed to a junior partner. They spent down a $4500 retainer in less than 7 days and still hadn't filed required paperwork although everything needed was provided during the initial meeting. It's now the 11th hour and now we're being told the required pa...perwork won't be filed unless we double the retainer before the day's end but wait, there's more; This matter was about protecting the safety and well being of a child. I ended the relationship. Next morning handed new counsel same materials. Everything was wrapped up in our favor (child safe) less than 48 hours later. Short version: After needless drama, abuse, and expense, a competitor handled everything in 80% less time for 30% of the original retainer paid to Landerholm.
