About John

Learn John’s areas of practice.

After working for large litigation and smaller boutique firms, Mr Wallpe quickly realized that his goal of providing a high level of client support and attention is only realistic in a small firm environment. So he exchanged the high pressure, high volume business model of the big firms for a smaller town vision more in line with his ideals of what law and justice should resemble.  Mr. Wallpe's practice includes mediation, arbitration, general civil litigation, consumer law, real estate and bankruptcy.

Bankruptcy Advice
I called Mr. Wallpe to start a bankruptcy filing, and he listened to my specifics thoroughly. He took the time to explain the debts to me and what my creditors could and couldn't do and what actually could be included in my filing. After his patient explanations it was determined not to file at this time and that I would contact him if there changes. I had called other attorney's who barely listened and just wanted to charge an exhorbitant fee! Thank you John!

Least expensive bankruptcy attorney around
I originally was just looking for the least expensive bankruptcy attorney, and after calling around, I found John. There is no real legal aid in this county, and Mr. Wallpe seems to be filling the void. Ironically, filing bankruptcy can be pretty expensive, but Mr. W seems to understand that if I had thousands of dollars to spend, I would not be filing bankruptcy! I ended up getting much better representation than I ever expected from Mr. Wallpe (and his partner who advised me on real estate issues). He helped me through the process without judging me, or looking down at me. He was clear and informative, took my calls, answered whatever questions I had, and always kept in close contact with me. I couldn't be happier with Mr. Wallpe.

A good lawyer and a good person
I've never met an attorney that actually convinced me NOT to give him money. He spent well over an hour with me discussing my specific situation and led me toward a path that ultimately saved me thousands of dollars and years of litigation and other problems. Thank you Mr. Wallpe. If more attorneys were as open and direct as you are, there would be much more confidence in the legal system.

A lawyer with honesty and knowledge...
John is somebody I was seeking who would represent myself and defend my rights. He goes further and takes the long walk to investigate, does the research and and inform his clients all the facts necessary to know. He has a vast knowledge of laws and regulations, and keeps them updated constantly. He will explain his thoughts even though they are not necessarily your best interest in the court room but it is the best if you know before your case ends up in the court room. Well his performance in the courtroom is another but related subject, but I trust him... the knowledge and dedication wins.
