Highly NOT recommended

Did not get anything I asked for in my divorce case. I wanted primary physical custody and was told to settle for joint but with stipulations. Instead of the original amout of $1000+ in child support, she got me 900. I was always the last to know about when my court dates were (sometimes only notifie...d a day in advance and thats only because I randomly called to check on another issue and then was told, "see you tmrw in court" ..!?!?!?) She also got irritated with me because I didn't show up to a court dat that I was never informed about! How can I appear when I don't know I'm supposed to!? I feel like she did NOTHING for me, just got me to agree to all of my ex's demands. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

Atty. Lucero managed to acquire alimony payments but failed to follow up on the court's decision. As soon as a decision was made on my divorce case, Atty. Lucero's exact words to me were, "We are done with your case and have nothing more to do with it." What good is getting alimony if your ex-spouse ...refuses to pay it? Numerous attempts to contact and inform Atty. Lucero and her office were, after the court's decision, ignored. I was forced to research other alternatives (which Atty. Lucero never informed me about) and have ultimately sought other representation in my ongoing struggle to obtain alimony. Also, when I contacted the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, it always came back to, "Why haven't you informed your lawyer?" And, like I said before, my attempts to contact Atty. Lucero and her office were ignored. In conclusion, I have sought other legal representation and have been given several options which I am currently pursuing. None of these options were ever suggested by Atty. Lucero, and, unfortunately, aside from getting a decision for alimony payments (which in my opinion was an amount that was less than I deserved), did little else, and performed in a less than satisfying manner.
