First Joseph did a family law case for me years ago and in November this year I again needed his services for the titiled issues. Joseph is very knowledgable and very fast to respond to my questions and concerns. He has made time to be avaliable when I have a divorce or custody issue arise that has me in tears. His retainer was very resonable as are his fees. as to the reveiwer with the same first name as myself talk to other attorneys and see how fast a response you get because it will not be even close to Joseph's fast response. I personal have not a single regret with either of the cases Joseph has done for me.

I gave him 2 grand for retainer for a custody case. I gave him documents, I gave him journals, notes, witnesses names and contact info with clearly written facts that they could verify, how they were relevant to my case, ect.
The day before my hearing he called to say he had contacted 2 of my witnesses that day via phone and that they had backed up what I had said. (Duh?) Then he told me how that would be good for my case (duh?)
Then when I showed up at court I sat next to him outside the courtroom and said hi there, how are you? Shouldn't sit down?
He smiled and said excuse me and got up and went into some room. The baking let us in court. I sat and waited and he approached me and asked me my name. I told him and he said oh okay I didn't recognize you, you're my client.
When we got called he didn't speak up and fumbled around and wasn't prepared and had nothing to say, just stuttering around incoherently about setting an evidentiary hearing. He had also attended a court date regarding child support that he had rescheduled for earlier without my knowledge and only called to leave a voice mail that we lost because I had no proof of his income (I had proof, he never asked me or mentioned the hearing)
I did the rest of my legal battle alone because I wasted 2 grand to have him mess up far worse than if I had represented myself.
I agreed in mediation to a custody schedule I didn't want because I had no money left for representation.
4 weeks later this attorney called me all jolly and read me my mediation agreement over the phone as if I hadn't seen it and couldn't understand it and like I wasn't there making it in person. He is senile. Mr magoo. Hiring him will lose your case.
