As an out of state driver, I was scared and intimidated by the legal charges facing me in a small, rural California town. Needing to find the right attorney from two time zones away, I naturally had to rely on the internet in my search. What struck me at first about Mr. Hamilton's legal practice was that he did not rely on scare tactics that all the other attorneys seemed to shout from their websites. He does not harp over and over about the penalties, fines and punishments that were facing me, or make promises he can't keep. Just an honest reputation, built on his own life experience, his integrity, and a legal practice standing firm on the bedrock of the Constitution of these United States.
He was able to manage the case for me long distance, without any appearances by me until the trial date, kept me informed constantly, and advised me of all my legal options as the case progressed. He did in fact work tirelessly, over the course of 17 months, making a number of long distance trips across his own state, and attending several court appearances to secure the right time and venue for me to appear.
In court Mr. Hamilton was without a doubt "confident, but concerned", and deeply vested in proving my innocence in the matter at hand. His jury selection process was spot-on, securing a group of people who were open-minded, objective, and not inclined to take the police's side just because they said I was "guilty".
Mr. Hamilton was able to turn the police officers report and witness testimony into liabilities for the prosecution, clearly illustrating to the jury the lack of probable cause for my arrest, punching holes in the officers handling of the field sobriety tests, and debunking the witness on the stand.
Mr. Hamilton was in complete command of the courtroom from beginning to end, swaying the jury to my side, illustrating me as the victim, and essentially turning what was likely a 'slam dunk' case against me, into a instance of road rage on behalf the witnesses, and a case of unwarranted prosecution on the part of the police.
Most importantly, thru out the entire process, Mr. Hamilton was genuinely concerned for my personal well being, and the stress and anxiety I was naturally going thru. He was a friendly, reassuring voice on the other end of the line when I needed one, gregarious and outgoing in person, never once failing to pick up the slack or cover the fine details. I must also mention his assistant and investigator Samantha, who was indispensable in my legal defense. She uncovered every detail, flaw, and inconsistency in the prosecution's case against me.
If you are facing a DUI charge, regardless of the circumstances, I would strongly advise you to secure Mr. Hamilton's services. He is a pillar of virtue, and I can honestly say, that not only did he save me from the legal charges that I was facing , but I believe I am also a better person for having met him.
Thank you, Mr. Hamilton, my hat is off to you.
