I have had my criminal record expunged. There is still information about my arrest on websites. Who should i contact to have it removed since my record has been dismissed.
Unfortunately its really hard. You can try contacting the companies who operate the websites but that doesn't mean they will necessarily do anything. Private companies/private websites update their information but they may not update and say you've had your record expunged.See question
Hey we are a security guard company. We did the services already for the clients and now they do not want to pay us.
This isn't really a criminal defense questions. Its more of a contracts law question... but you could take them to small claims court.See question
Charged with a felony in 2005 for receiving stolen property (wobbler) no prison time only 3 days in county completed everything in 2/16 I was granted a misdemeanor and had it dismissed by the judge no other trouble at all
Since it should be reduced to a misdemeanor you should be able to own/purchase a firearm but I agree with Jay. Check with the DOJ before you do so.See question
The United States District Court and the US District Judge VS United States Department of Justice and US District Attorney for a district? Are these two separate from each other? Thanks
Your question is a little complicated. The United States District Court is a federal court. A US District Court judge is the judge in a federal court.
The United States Department of Justice is a federal law enforcement agency. It is headquartered in Washington D.C. and the head of the agency is Eric Holder [at least for now]. Each federal district had their own United States Attorney who oversees investigations and prosecutions for that district.
There is no such thing as a US District Attorney - the closest thing is the United States Attorney for a given district.
The US Attorney for a district investigates cases. If someone is indicted an attorney from the US Attorney's office, referred to as an Assistant United States Attorney [aka AUSA] prosecutes the case. The case is heard in a United States District Court and a US District Judge presides over the case.
The judge and the US Attorney's office are totally separate. The judges are governed by Article III of the US Constitution [the judicial branch of government], the US Attorney's office and the DOJ are both part of the Executive Branch of government.See question

An expungement is about as good as it's going to get unless you happened to be under the age of 18 in 1985.See question
I know its extremely rare and unlikely. I know that it's almost never used. All I'm wondering is if its available for Felony OR only for Misdemeanor.
It probably is technically available on a felony but I have never heard of it actually happening.See question
