I met Gay for my Initial consultation, and left with the knowledge and tenacity to see things through. She had so much insight into this realm of Discrimination that I could never had pursued this on my own. I look forward to working with Gay in the future and I will recommend her to anyone who needs her services.

Gay is very knowledgable about employment laws and realistic about what she could do in my case. She did give me some new information. However, on the negative side, despite asking what the fees would be prior to having an assessment done (for close to $400) I was told it would depend on my case. After paying for & going through the assessment process, she then told me her standard non-refundable retainer is $5,000 plus. While the assessment was very thourough and I believe she works hard for those she represents I would have liked to have known what her retainer fees were ahead time. Had I known, I probably would not have met with her. For anyone working with the public, I believe an attorney's retainer fees should be stated up front; but I don't know if this is a standard practice with attorney's as a whole. To be fair, I also believe she has helped several clients achieve their goals and is a very good attorney. I would recommend her to others seeking an employment lawyer.

I meet with Gay it was such a pleasure to see that there is hope to fine an attorney who is excited about the services they provide to clients. I had given up on believing to find a good attorney that is willing to use their skills for the profession they have chosen. Gay has so much relaxed positive energy and knowledge you know you have found the best attorney possible.

First retained Gaye Lynne Carroll in 2002 to help me resolve a difficult ethical problem at my place of employment. Problem solved, but kept Ms Lynne Carroll on retainer to help with additional issues that occurred over the years. Her legal advice not only kept me employed, but also helped me plan my career progression. She helped to interpret the actions of my senior management so that I could develop and implement a reaction plan. It was like knowing the answers to the exam before I took it! I feel her legal fees were investments in my future. Money very well spent.

Gay was very helpful right from the beginning of my complaint. She was realistic about expectations, she kept me informed throughout the process and was able to reach an amicable resolution with opposing counsel. My experience working with both Gay and her staff was always very positive and it was nice to have Gay and her team in my corner when going through this very difficult process.

In my consultation meeting with Ms. Carroll, she listened to my side of the story and made sure she understand the issues that arose and my reason for consulting an attorney. My case involved me being unjustifiably dismissed from a state job. While I do have union representation, I knew I would not receive the type of representation from the Union as I did from Ms. Carroll. Ms. Carroll had my best interest at heart and presented a strong case to support my disagreement with my dismissal and was successful in securing me a fair settlement agreement.

Gay Lynne Carroll reviewed the specifics of my California Unemployment denial, she provided excellent guidance and advice to present to my appeals judge at an affordable price, I won my appeal and owe it all to her, I would not hesitate to use her again or to recommend her services to anyone. She presents the facts of your case in an understandable manner, and was not intimidating at any time, truly caring for the rights of the client. Thank you Gay Lynne Carroll!

Mrs.Carroll-Haring was very upfront, ready to begin work, and on task. She was interested in what I had to say, and wanted to hear about my timeline of events from my work-site situation. I am pleased after talking with so many lawyer to finally find one who was willing to take on the hard-ship of my case.

Legal matters get serious (and expensive) quickly, especially if your job is at risk. Gay is a knowledgable expert and quickly gave me the peace of mind that my issue was well in hand. Her fees were extremely reasonable, making her an outstanding counselor and a superb value. She will be my first call if I ever need an employment attorney!

Gay represented me as her first client. I appreciateed her diligence, and thoroughness in a relataively new area coverning the Brown Act and employment law. She is extremely responsive and kept fighting when opposing attorneys dragged out the proceedings for five years and finally wanted to settle at the last minute. It was a long and arduous process, but in the end, she and I prevailed against the big guys. I would highly recommend her.
