Description: Organized a moot court and served as a moot court judge to help prepare Appellants' counsel for oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals when the case went up for en banc rehearing a second time in 2012 Often referred to as “the Alameda gun show case” (and sometimes as “the case that doesn’t end” because of its long and tangled procedural history), Nordyke involved a constitutional challenge on First and Second Amendment grounds to an Alameda County, California, ordinance that bans firearms from county property, including the Alameda County fairgrounds.
