I was wrongfully accused in a DV case in Clearlake, California which is not a easy situation to get out of as I soon found out , some how ? However, after meeting Bill (as we call him), I knew in two words that he was a down to earth and empathetic human being and that at the same time meant business. He explained everything just like it was with no false promises. I liked that! (Who wouldn't?) Most of all, I didn't know how but I knew I was going to be ok. He even has an investigator at his disposal and they all worked around the clock for my rights. Bill fought for me tooth and nail like I was his son, and I definitely take my hat off to my Lawyer William Conwell for my Freedom, my education and the well being of me and my family. A million thanks to Bill for fighting for me. Jail is not a place anyone wants or needs to be if innocent. I highly recommend this Lawyer and his partners at his Law Office and practice.

I hired Bill after I was going through a long a drawn out court process that was never ending! After one hearing I was able to get resolution. He is very patient and listens to your concerns and simply wants to help! I am very grateful for his help and the way he was able to "simplify" a complicated mess. Thank you!

Bill is an open minded person, and will keep you informed about your case. He has a very calming temperment, which makes it a little easier when he has to tell you something you really don't want to hear. He took our case on a last minute situation, and has been there for us all the way. We are still fighting our case, but because of his calm and straight forward personallity, he has been very easy to work with. He is dedicated to your cause, and works extreamly hard on researching what can and can't happen. Knowing all the facts, good or bad, is always helpfully so you are prepared for what every happens in court. He is patient, even when your not, but has a way of calming you down,.
Bill sets the bar high for other attorneys' to follow. I highly recommend him.

I endorse Bill without reservation. Bill's a real warrior. Bill and I have helped each other out over the years on serious criminal cases by sharing ideas and documents. Bill routinely tries cases where the sentencing exposure is 20 years-plus. But you wouldn't hear that from him; he's that humble. Bill's a whip smart, quiet assassin. I can vouch personally for Bill's work-product and trial skills. I only review people I know personally and for whom I'm able to vouch for their work in a true, substantive way. Such is the case with Bill. He's a man about his business, and he has my respect -- and the respect of the bench and bar statewide. Just an all around great guy and truly competent criminal defense attorney.
