The biggest mistake of my life was hiring Thomas Shields and Wine Country Family Law for my divorce as I’ve been financially ruined because of their gross mishandling of my case. My assigned attorney was Thomas Shields and he was outmaneuvered by my ex’s attorney literally every step of the way. ...However the biggest shock and failure was Thomas’s courtroom performance during the hearing. Thomas apparently has a severe fear of public speaking. He was physically shaking twitching and trembling as well as his voice was shaking. My ex’s attorney was making all these character assassinations against me and Thomas didn’t come back with a single rebuttal. In addition to that, he had failed to file a vital form with the court which made us look really bad. The judge ruled $5,000 a month in alimony to my ex that was back dated as well as $10,000 in attorneys fees for her lawyer. In the snap of a finger I was out $20,000. At that point my ex had me in check so to avoid checkmate I was forced to settle for $150,000. So I paid her $150,000 as well as all the attorneys fees for her and Wine Country this experience cost me about $200,000. I literally would have had the same outcome with zero representation. I complained to the CEO and she replied to me saying that one of the partners was out on extended leave and covid had everyone overworked so that’s why they botched my case. They should have turned my business away if they were overworked and understaffed but instead they did take on my case and in doing so destroyed my life. I am filing a formal complaint with the state bar association as well.

He is able to give accurate predictions of how a judge will rule in a particular case, while at the same time being conservative and not making false promises. His demeanor in court is calm and respectful, while still arguing effectively. He makes a... good impression in court. He gets your paperwork done on time, doesn't miss deadlines. etc. Good lawyer.
