Jon was a wonderful attorney and was incredibly kind, considerate and understanding. He walked me through all of the details when I was in a really horrible and uncomfortable position. I was out of state, on vacation, and clearly made a bad call driving back to my hotel after a day of wine tasting all over Sonoma County. I knew better than that, and really made a bad decision. I called probably 10 DUI lawyers the next day and no one made me feel like they were going to look out for me like Jon did. He took so much time to talk me through all of the details of what needed to happen immediately and what would happen over time. If I have any complaints after it's all said and done, it would be towards the end of the process I had a little trouble getting in touch with him knowing deadlines, when things would be decided, how to follow up, etc. He did give me all of the information I asked for eventually, I am assuming he was just a busy guy, but as long as you stay on top of him towards the end he will get back to you with every answer you could need. All in all, it was an incredibly relieving experience to know that someone was taking your best interest into account when you were so far away from what was happening. I am incredibly grateful, and would recommend him to anyone.

Jon provides the most pertinent and helpful information on his website. Based on this, I gave him a call and was amazed when he answered the phone on a Friday afternoon . He was busy and said he would call me back and did. He talked to me for awhile but almost right away told me something no on else had told me which was a great relief to me. He didn't push to represent me, in fact said he thought it could be handled by the public defenders. I preferred to have private counsel and retained him. Through out the process he maintained contact and provided me with information about the arrest I never expected to see. Most importantly he got me a plea in the case which will prevent me from having a DUI on my record, providing I meet the terms of the fine, education and behavior. I feel a great amount of gratitude for Jon.

I was completely overwhelmed as someone who has never been in trouble in their life. Jon answered my call immediately, talked me through my fears and anxieties, and took as much time as I needed to feel at ease. He met me at my first court date, he was warm and kind. I was a nervous wreck and while he had another client waiting, he handled both of our cases with grace and ease and made both of us feel like actual human beings instead of case numbers. I blew a .23 with video footage, I remember about 3 seconds of the entire ordeal. I thought I’d be thrown in jail, but Jon walked me through every step of regaining my license, signing up for classes and paying my court fines. He was flexible and accommodating with his schedule and would always get back to my emails or calls without delay.
I am grateful to him and would 100% recommend anyone to consult and hire this brilliant man.

I was on DUI probation and violated it 5 days before my probation was terminated. I called Jon Woolsey and liked that he was experienced and knowledgeable about my situation. I hired him immediately. He told me not to stress, that he felt very confident about keeping me out of jail.
But I was stressed the whole 3 weeks before the court date, because Sonoma County comes down hard on you for violating probation. I was scared they would put me in jail for a month. Also I hold a license in the medical industry so I was scared of that being revoked as well.
Mr. Woolsey got the charges dropped! So no violation! It is not on my record.

Mr. Woolsey did an excellent job for me. Made any involvement on my part totally transparent and unnecessary. Made excellent referrals wrt required activities. Great followup, communication. Overall he did much more than I expected resulting in something much less imposing, costly and restrictive than I expected. The one thing that I learned most of all is the wisdom of sticking with an attorney who specializes.

While visiting the Santa Rosa area on vacation I was arrested for a DUI. Once I returned to the Southern California area I contacted Jon. He was knowledgeable and honest and put my fears at ease. He was able to handle all court proceeding without me having to travel back to Santa Rosa and took care of all the D.M.V issues as well. On top of everything else he was affordable and I was able to make monthly payments. I truly do not know what I would have done if I did not have Jon in my corner every step of the way. Jon Woolsey was the best DUI lawyer that I could have asked for! He worked with me for almost two years until everything was taken care of. I had to move from Sonoma county to San Diego county and Jon not only attended all the court hearings for me but he also made sure that I was able to meet all the court requirements even though I was no longer in Sonoma county.
