About me

Recently appointed by the State Bar Board of Trustees to the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the Bar, I am an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rated attorney*, recognized by my peers as a SuperLawyer® of Northern California.

I have negotiated and documented many significant real estate and business transactions, including purchases, sales, leasing and construction of shopping centers, office buildings, wineries, vineyards, ranches, development and subdivision land, estate homes, and the single largest conservation land acquisition in Sonoma County history. I also practice in the area of business formation and sales, construction law, land use, zoning and planning. I represent for-profit and nonprofit businesses, academic institutions, and homeowners’ associations in corporate, governance, and real estate matters. I represent real estate brokerage firms and associations of REALTORS® regarding corporate and disclosure issues and broker risk management. I also assist clients who are negotiating with governmental agencies in real estate transactions, including condemnation-related matters.
