Professional and efficient

Attorney Chattopadhya offers not only a professional advice, but also a simple empathy. It was very helpful to me knowing, she is seeing me not as one more case in her carrier, but a person who is dealing with a complicated problem. I would highly recommend her services.

Amazing lawyer

Made the divorce process so simple and less emotional! She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I will recommend her law office to everyone in need of legal services!

excellent attorney; professional and personable

Magdalena took over after another lawyer totally screwed up my divorce/spousal support/property division case. Not only did she fix the paperwork mess, but also found the solution to get money out of my ex without prolonging the procedures and charging an arm and a leg for it. She is very responsive ...and gets straight to the point, which I personally like. I highly recommend her.

Junior inexperienced attorney -- stay away

Not knowing any attorneys when I was looking for one, I made a mistake by hiring her. Stay away and go to an attorney who is more experienced. 1. Will easily get bullied by senior opposing attorneys during 4 way meetings and meetings before court proceedings. 2. Will drop the ball on your case v...ery easily because her office has other cases to work on. 3. Her office staff is only good at doing Income and Expense declaration statements. 4. Her motions are written with poor attention to detail. Many facts are skipped and the case is presented in an non-persuasive carelessly written manner. 5. Reactive not pro-active, always playing defense. Will not take concrete steps to protect your interests. Will reveal case strategy to opposing counsel in meetings like a novice she is. 6. Office staff is inexperienced. They cannot find your paperwork on time. Will lose track of your emails and will never get back to you on time. 7. Overall poor handling of your case but good amount of billing. 8. She is junior attorney masquerading as a senior attorney. To gain your confidence and business she will quickly respond during non office hours and jump on the phone with you. She will ask you to send your case paperwork via email, without retainer agreement (Attorney/Client privileged relation in place) to show how much she cares about you.
