Sounds like he used excessive force and you should pursue legal action against him and the store right away,.See question

You may still be able to file a union grievance and go through their procedures. If your union rep forced you to submit a resignation - it doesn't sound like you were given good advice.
contact your union lawyer adn see if they can get you reinstated at least until the claims are thoroughly investigated.See question
What valid reason I could state in order to have civil litigation judgement documents sealed? The matter was resolved without a judgement entered by reaching a settlement amount. I'm in CA. Thank you in advance for your advice.
I suggest you start with 2016 California Rules of Court, Rule 2.550 which defines sealed records
It really depends on the nature of the case; if children are involved or a sexual assault it may be easier than just wanted the court records to be sealed and no privacy or confidentiality issues are present.See question
I'm trying to figure out if I can get out of my book contract with a publisher that I no longer feel comfortable with. Both contracts are already set to be terminated in May and August, but recently some event have occurred that have given me reas...
Aside from carefully reviewing the terms of the contract, you should clarify what exactly the publisher did to cause you to reconsider doing business with them. If their conduct was illegal in any manner, that is usually sufficient to justify voiding the contract or at least, providing sufficient grounds to consider the contract voidable.See question
Can I still file suite against the government agency after 2 years?
You have to contact an attorney in the State you were terminated; laws vary from state to state, particularly when an action may be against a public entity.See question
I am 19 and I was recently terminated from my job, but they didn't tell me, They told my mother, who is a store manager. What can i do? What are my rights?
It's not clear what your question is and without more facts it is impossible to determine whether or not your termination was wrongful. The issue regarding your employer talking to your mother about your termination is likely to be considered an invasion of privacy but what are your damages?See question
If I decide to proceed with a wrongfull termination lawsuit after filing for a right to sue letter with the DFEH what is the process from this point forward? How long do cases like these typically last? How long does it take to file a lawsuit?
Once you file your DFEH claim, your statute begins to run one year from the date that DFEH issues you a Right to Sue. You also have the option of asking for an immediate right to sue and then you can proceed directly to court.
Hope this helps.See question
I was wrongfully terminated from work because I was accused of assulting the employee witch it was not true. I was out of work for a year and 6 months,my union fought for me and we went to arbitration and I won. I got my job back can I sue the per...
Yes of course you can given the outcome of your arbitration. However, I agree with Mr. Holzman that suing an individual and trying to obtain recompense for 1 1/2 years out of work may prove to be difficult. It all depends on the financial sovency of the individual who committed the slander.
