Christopher Duane Hirz

My experience with Mr. Christopher Hirz is one that I actually wish had started 3 years sooner! I was force to change representation due to poor performance, basically incompetence bordering on malpractice. My girlfriend was kind enough to help me sort thru several options thru Yelp and other social reviewing platforms. She recommended that I try 3 options and I settled on Chris after one quick meeting! We met at his office in downtown SJ for initial consult and we hit it off immediately. The office is very nice, the staff incredibly helpful and kind so it was a pretty easy choice! After our meeting, he put into place a quick plan based on my interview and we were off! I placed my retainer, provided as much new information as I could and he reviewed the rest of the information from previous counsel. Our plan was followed to a tee! The result was a total victory! I felt very strongly that my case had merit and unlike my prior attorney, he believed in me. That was the difference all along. It was never about the money, he actually refunded me half the trial retainer stating that he was going to get most of it settled at the SOC…which of course, he did! The most strategic part of our plan was to take the high road on every item possible. Don’t bite on the bait and stay focused. I must say this was more difficult than I could have ever imagined! His words and logic matched by girlfriends so it was welcomed support on both ends! I am terribly hotheaded at times and dealing with the ex can be worse than dental surgery and yet he accomplished his / our goal! His preparation, detailed and concise, was key to this trial. During the trial, he referenced documents, emails and other correspondence as if he had it memorized! His legal team, Rosa and Adrian, are awesome…! I cannot speak more highly of them both! When you are faced with the challenge of choosing counsel, please understand that the review of personal experience is an invaluable resource. I asked if I could send this review, as I felt compelled to help anyone that was in a similar situation. I truly understand the emotions that go into even filling for divorce. The decision is made more difficult because then you have to pick the right attorney! Coming from someone who picked the wrong one initially, I’m convinced that Chris Hirz is the right choice the first time! My hope is that if you’re reading this that you don’t make the wrong decision like I did… choose Chris from the very beginning…you will not be sorry, I promise!
