Had a brief phone conversation with John several months before engaging his services.
He stated that he had done many OEX's.
When the party that, I have the dispute with hired counsel, I had to do the same thing.
I made an appointment for 1 hour to discuss the case with John, he believed that I had a strong case, but obviously didn't guarantee any results.
So I hired him.
When John was engaged, I had a $3000.00 offer on the table.
He contacted the other sides counsel and debated the issues, and talked about a settlement.
As the case developed John made several key errors, and I knew at this point, he had overstated his expertise.
Both lawyers were focusing on one issue that didn't matter.
After spending lots of money with John he contacted me, with their new offer of $500.00!!
At this point I had to make a change, so I found a new lawyer.
I wanted to go into deeper detail, about the case but we have an arbitration hearing coming up, regarding his fees.

I had a great experience with John Corcoran with Plastiras & Terrizzi. He helped me with an easement issue. He was extremely responsive and kept me informed of his time line regarding when we could meet and when he would be contacting me. And then he kept to it. I highly recommend him.

I have known John for more than 20 years and have been working with him in a professional capacity for the past year. John was hired by my company to handle all aspects of our incorporation. He spent a great deal of time getting to know my colleagues and our business, and provided sound legal advice that demonstrated a great depth of understanding of our industry. He was always available to answer questions and worked well with all members of our team. I recommend John Corcoran enthusiastically and without hesitation. You won't find a more honest, capable, and dedicated attorney anywhere in the San Francisco bay area.
William Bradbury, General practice Attorney
John is an excellent attorney when it comes to navigating the political minefields of land use and zoning regulations. His work with the Town of Tiburon combined with his experience in Marin County government gives him a superior understanding of this complex area of law. John brings a professional demeanor to the practice of law and his willingness to help others in their professional development and networking is evident in his preparation and delivery of his business development courses.
