Report the hit and run to your insurance company and the police. Get a police report. If you are injured, get treated. Then, hire a PI attorney. Best of luck.See question

I would be more interested in getting the information about the semi. The semi's insurance policy may be better than the cab's company. Besides, you stated that you got sideswiped by the semi not the cab. I do not see liability on the part of the cab driver. Best of luck.See question

There are three issues here: one is driving with a suspended license, second issue is leaving the scene of an accident and third, his rear end collision. The first two are potential criminal charges. The third is a civil matter. Your car is probably at the impound and you should call the police to go get your car. You may have to pay towing and storage charges. Best of luck.See question
I have retained a PI attorney. During her depo she admitted that she was looking for a location she hadn't been to before and was looking ahead to the next street sign when she hit me. She was very evasive about her phone she had with her, saying ...
iF YOU GOT REARENDED, THERE IS A PRESUMPTION OF LIABILITY ON THE PART OF THE DEFENDANT. THAT MEANS THAT THE OTHER DRIVER IS AT FAULT FOR NEGLIGENTLY REARENDING YOUR CAR. IF THE OTHER DRIVER ALREADY ADMITEED THAT FACT AT HER DEPOSITION, THEN YOUR LAWYER WOULD BE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING YOU THE BEST SETTLEMENT POSSIBLE FOR YOUR CASE RATHER THAN CONCENTRATING ON CELL PHONE RECORDS. DO NOT SECOND GUESS YOUR LAWYER AND LET HIM DO HIS JOB. THAT IS WHY YOU HIRED HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE. BEST OF LUCK.See question

THERE IS NO HURRY. TALK TO AN EXPERIENCED AUTO ACCIDENT ATTORNEY IN CALIFORNIA. WHAT SEEMS A NOT SUBSTANTIAL INJURY RIGHT NOW MAY BE A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE LATER ON. I HAVE A CLIENT THAT GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT LAST WEEK AND REFUSED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. THREE DAYS LATER THE CLIENT COULD NOT RAISE HER ARM AND HER KNEE AND LOWER BACK HURT SO MUCH THAT SHE HAS HAD TO FILE FOR WORKERS COMPENSATION. SOMETIMES WE VALUE OUR POSSESSIONS MORE THAN OUR BODIES. SO THE MORAL IS TAKE YOUR TIME , GET YOURSELF THORIUGHLY CHECKED OUT AND IF THERE IS NOTHING BOTHERING YOU AFTER 30 DAYS. THEN GO AHEAD AND SETTLE YOUR PROPERTY CLAIM DAMAGE. BEST OF LUCKSee question

iF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY WAS HURT, I URGE TO CONTACT A PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY. THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF ADVISING YOU ABOUT YOUR CLAIM. THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT PAYING THE LEAST AMOUNT OF MONEY AND PROTECT YTHEIR CLIENTS ONLY. MOST ATTORNEY DO NOT WORK ON PROPERTY SETTLEMENTS BECAUSE IT IS NOT ECONOMICAL, BUT IF YOU HAVE INJURIES YOUR ATTORNEY CAN HELP. BEST OF LUCK.See question

I work for a government agency. For several years we have been asking for testing of our office(1970's modular)for mold due to employees feeling like they have the flu and allergies when in the building. Management ignored our requests. Recently w...
Having faced a similar issue when I used to work for the government, this is what I suggest. Find out from the financial manager for your office whether the building is rented or not. If it is rented then run to a PI lawyer that does mold cases and get advice right away. If the building is government owned, then I am afraid you have a plain vanilla Workers Comp case. If the issue is one against a third party you may still need to comply with the Tort Liability Act and must provide notice to your Employer. Best of luck.See question
