Ariel Winger

Ariel Winger was admitted to the California State Bar in 1996 and has practiced family law in the Bay Area exclusively since 1999. After years of litigating domestic-violence family law cases, Ariel turned to Mediation and Collaborative Practice as a peaceful and practical alternative to the traditional, court-based model of divorce. She opened her private practice in 2007 with the goal of offering a more humane and holistic option for parting couples who are navigating the legal system.

With a background in psychology and counseling, and through personal experience as a child of divorce, Ariel has a keen understanding of the interpersonal and family dynamics that parting couples face. As a result, Ariel strives to provide each client with support, compassion, and understanding, in addition to her legal expertise. Ariel respects her clients as unique individuals who are the ultimate authorities on what is in the best interest of themselves and their children.
