This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
Private reproval, public disclosure means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

I contacted Mr. Knutsen for a consultation for a recent incident that I needed legal advice for. While Mr. Knutsen presents himself in a very professional and comforting manner, it was clear to me that he was taking me in circles. He kept repeating the same mundane information to me that I was able to derive from my own internet research, and didn't have the foresight or knowledge to give me any sort of introspective analysis or advice that I hoped an attorney would be able to provide in response to my questions. I don't believe that he was trying to "rip me off," but I certainly would not trust an important issue in my life with.
Donald Drewry, DUI and DWI Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse this lawyer's work because of tireless effort to find the case law that will support his clients at trial. David is a "Trial Lawyer". He has countless trials that he has fought and won for his clients. There are so many attorneys who just want to plea bargain the case out so they can get on to the next case, but David is not one of those; the kind you should be avoiding. David will take the case to trial and fight with everything his has, which is a lot, to win your case for you. If you have found David Knutsen, you have found the trial lawyer you want to represent you, so hire him; I would. Donald Drewry
